National Votes for Women’s Trail Marker to Honor Kentucky Suffragist Josephine Henry

Join us at the dedication ceremony for Josephine Henry's national marker donated by the National Collaborative for Women’s History Sites and the William G. Pomeroy Foundation and which will be a part of the National Votes for Women Trail. Coline Jenkins, a descendent of Elizabeth Cady Stanton; Dr. Kathi Kern, author of _Mrs. Stanton’s Bible_ and Associate Professor of History at the University of Kentucky; and, historian Aloma Dew will address guests. The Women’s Suffrage Centennial Chorus will perform inspirational suffrage music. The Woodford County Historical Society will host a reception immediately following the marker dedication ceremony at their office located at 121 Rose Hill Drive in downtown Versailles.
